Inspection Onshore & Offshore:
EIL is approved by major Oil companies & fabrication yards for various inspection services.
EIL has carried out inspection services consisting of RLA, FFS, Corrosion monitoring & welding
inspection services in addition to conventional NDT to major oil companies & fabrication yards in
the Middle East, Africa, India & China.
ASNT, API, AWS, CSWIP & NACE qualified welding and quality inspection teams undertake third party inspection services
for welded structures, pipelines, pressure vessels, tank farms etc for various clients. They also work as consultants
for various infrastructure projects in addition to supervising the quality of the materials used in these projects.
EIL personnel have represented many international certification agencies in prestigious projects. The Certified and
approved inspectors can supervise, monitor and control activities related to quality, performance, job progress etc.
as required by the client.
Shutdown Inspection Services
Many shut down inspection jobs of process industries-petroleum and Petro-chemical Industries are handled by EIL’s inspection teams. EIL is capable of engaging sufficient number of trained and qualified professionals of various disciplines to ensure the completion of the inspection works during the shutdown. EIL typically engages Plant Inspectors, Piping Inspectors, Tank Inspectors, Welding Inspectors, Corrosion Engineers , Metallurgists, Specialized Inspection teams in addition to the conventional NDT teams. In addition to the inspection teams, EIL mobilizes Project Managers, Safety Officers, Third Party Inspectors and Technical Clerks for efficient and effective completion of the Shutdown works.
Condition Assessment, Fitness-For-Service and Residual Life Evaluation Studies For Static and Rotating Equipment
EIL has executed various projects for Oil & Gas industries which require the comprehensive assessment of their assets. EIL specialists use specific software to assess the Fitness-For-Service (as per API 579 or any international standard as required by the client) and determine the remaining life of equipment. By utilizing the specialized and conventional inspection techniques as well as the inputs from world renowned associates, EIL have successfully carried out the condition assessment of static & rotating equipment.
Secondment of Engineering, Safety and Environmental Specialists
EIL maintains a computerized Data bank of Engineers, Technicians and Specialists in Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, instrumentation, structural, Welding, QA / QC, Safety, Corrosion, Inspection and Environmental disciplines. The data bank is being continually updated. EIL’s efforts in the field of Secondment Services are supported by International Manpower service agencies from Europe, Asia and Far East.
Welder Education, Training and Qualification Programs
EIL in association with its partners has been imparting professional educational programs to welders, systematic practical training to welders followed by certification according to relevant codes and standards under surveillance by International classification bodies.
